A sandblast cabinet has a door that can be swung about an upper horizontal axis, an observation window in the door, and two handholes in the door for permitting access to the cabinet interior when the door is closed, the hand-holes being covered to prevent sand escaping from the cabinet, the door being foldable and comprising an upper and lower leaf, means pivotally connecting the lower leaf to the upper leaf for swinging about a horizontal axis located below the upper horizontal axis, the lower leaf defining a lower edge, and guide means for guiding the lower leaf so that the lower edge thereof moves along a path defined by the two sides of the folding door opening, when said folding door is opened and closed, whereby sand clinging to the folding door falls back into the cabinet interior when the former is opened. A cabinet 1 is closed by a door having an upper leaf 3b pivotally mounted on a horizontal hinge 4 connected to the top of the cabinet and a lower leaf 3a connected to the upper leaf by hinges 5. The lower leaf lies against vertical front edges la of the cabinet side walls and the upper leaf lies against rearwardly slanting front edges 1b of the side walls. Guide rails 6 extend along the front edges and rollers or pins 7 mounted on the lower leaf run in the rails.
