Contacting building elements having on at least one surface, an inwardly widening groove such as a dovetail groove, are connected by inserting connecting elements into grooves formed by the contacting surfaces of adjacent building elements, and each connecting element contains at least one coupling portion such that a connecting element that has been completely inserted into the grooves, may be removed by another part such as a hook. Fig. 4 shows a side view of such a shaft assembly with a pair of wheels 10 mounted thereon. A dovetail groove 11 is provided on the plane face of each wheel and these are connected using connecting slides 12. The shaft 16 is grooved at 17, 17a in order that a split spring ring 18 may be inserted to position the wheel(s) on the shaft.
