Abstract
1,155,918. Powder metallurgy. MANNESMANN A.G. Aug. 2, 1967 [Aug. 4, 1966], No. 35503/67. Headings C7A and C7D. A sintered phosphorus containing iron body having a low shrinkage in sintering is made from a powder mixture consisting of (a) 30-90% by weight of a powdered iron containing not more than 0À03% phosphorus and(b) a powdered phosphorus iron alloy having a phosphorus content of more than 0À03% but not more than 3% by weight. The overall phosphorus content of the mixture is preferably 0À2-1À4%.
