Abstract

1,155,855. Loading vehicles. A. P. PIQUE, and A. B. PIQUE. 5 July, 1966 [12 July, 1965], No. 30086/66. Heading B8E. The load-carrying floor of a vehicle comprises an endless belt 1 which passes round rollers 2 and over supporting members 3 which extend between the sides of the vehicle. The rollers 2 are driven from the vehicle gear-box 4 by shafts 7, 8 and worms 6 in either the loading or unloading direction. Alternatively, Fig. 3, the rollers 2 may be connected by a chain 9 and driven by bevel gears 11, 12 and a chain 10. The belt 1 may be of flexible sheet steel.
