Abstract

1,154,541. Unloading bulk material from vehicle containers; pneumatic conveyers. TILLS ENG. CO. Ltd. 8 Dec., 1967 [26 Sept., 1966], No. 42768/66. Headings B8A and B8E. A vehicle having a plurality of material holding containers and at least one container capable of being pressurized has means for producing positive or negative pressure relative to atmosphere. The pressure producing means are connected to the pressurizable container near its top together with the conduit by which material is introduced while discharge is through a bottom outlet across which a pressure discharge conduit passes. Equilibrium means are provided for equalization of the positive pressure in the container above the outlet and the system is provided with valves.
