[Also in Division G2] A printing process comprises contacting a sheet having a layer with a silver image and a layer with a vaporizable material (see Division G2) with a copy sheet and heating to transfer the vaporizable material imagewise. Up to 40 copies can be obtained. The vaporizable material may be a dye so that a direct image is obtained or one-component of a two-component colour-forming material with the other component being in the copy sheet so that a direct image is obtained. An invisible image may be obtained on the copy sheet if a colourless vaporizable material is transferred and this may be rendered visible by using a powdered ink.
