Abstract
1,153,295. Carrying conductors through casings. MAWDSLEY'S Ltd. 25 Aug., 1966 [2 Sept., 1965], No. 37481/65. Heading H2E. An electrode 8 is sealed into a lined tube 1, of a flowmeter or concentration meter, by means of a tapered bush 7 drawn inwardly by nut 10 into a welded side sleeve 2 which may have an insulating lining 5. The bush may be made of P.T.F.E. but if a less resilient material is used a separate 0-ring seal may be provided around the shank of the electrode.
