A dispensing fitting for a beer barrel, e.g. for domestic use, may be made of plastics and has a liquid outlet passage 12 with a dispensing valve 32, and a gas inlet passage 13 with a mounting for a carbon dioxide bulb 27 and a pressure reducing valve 14 with a non-return valve 17, the fitting being coupled to a bayonet fitting on the barrel so that valves in the barrel fitting are opened and passages 12 and 13 communicate with corresponding passages in the barrel fitting, seals 42, 43 being provided on the dispensing fitting.
