Abstract
1,152,169. Moulding sand-lime-cement mixture. RHEINISCHE KALKSTEINWERKE G.m.b.H. 12 Feb., 1968 [11 Feb., 1967], No. 6773/68. Heading B5A. Steam cured mouldings are made from a sand, lime and/or cement mix by compacting the mix to form pressings, crushing the pressings into small pieces, moulding these pieces either as such or in a quantity of at least 15% with non- compacted starting mix and steam curing the resulting mouldings. The sand preferably has a high fine grain content and the starting mix contains 2 to 8% of water. The pressings are preferably reduced to a size of 0 to 30 mm. and constitute 30-50% of the moulding mixture when mixed with uncompacted mix.
