Abstract

Concrete is prepared by mixing fly ash, cement and sand, spraying with water, agitating and allowing to partially dry, whereupon the resulting concrete is broken into irregular pieces, spread to a predetermined depth, e.g. in a mould, to produce a cellular effect when it is rolled, pressed or tamped and allowed to dry. The composition may also contain a synthetic resin and/or lime and/or an alkali.
