Abstract

1,145,499. Erecting buildings. ALIMAKVERKEN A.B. 20 July, 1966 [23 July, 1965], No. 32646/66. Heading E1S. A multi-storey concrete building comprises pre-fabricated stair-well units mounted one above the other, cast-in-situ compartments, and pre-fabricated roof sections, a mobile platform elevator being employed to lift the wall and floor shuttering, &c., into position. After the building foundations have been cast, tracks are laid alongside to carry the elevator 5 (Fig. 2, not shown) which has tracks 9 on the platform, and a hinged extension 7. The wall shuttering comprises wheeled carriages 16 (Figs. 3, 7, not shown) each with two top-hinged steel shutter panels 28, 29 on each side. Each panel is hollow, panel 28 having a perforated inner wall 30, and having vacuum chambers defined by vertical studs therein. The wall 30 is covered with a net and a nylon sheet 34. Tracks 40 are also carried by the carriages 16, for hoppers 41 which charge the wall shutters. The mobile floor shutters 48 (Figs. 4, 8, not shown) have flat, vertically-adjustable tops, and also carry tracks which load the legs 49 directly, rather than the top.
