Abstract

1,140,362. Haymaking machines. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. 2 Feb., 1966 [29 April, 1965; 29 Nov., 1965; 13 Dec., 1965], No. 4687/66. Heading A1F. A number of rake wheels 140A are supported on a beam 63 by arms 65 which are adjustable about a vertical axis. For side delivery raking as shown, the implement is drawn in direction C with the draw bar 80 connected between the forward steered wheels 49, 50. For tedding, the rake wheels -are moved to a position in which their supporting arms 65 are located by the pin 71 passing through hole 70 and the draw bar 80 is attached to the bracket 81 adjacent the wheel 50. The frame-supporting ground wheel 57 is moved to its other adjusted position to be disposed in the direction in which the implement is towed. The beam 63 is pivotally supported over a beam 56 on lugs 61 and can be lifted into a transport position by a device 73 operating on the forwardmost rake wheel.
