1,035,408. Cigarette making machines. VOKES Ltd. June 17, 1965 [June 24, 1964], No. 26113/64. Heading A2C. In cigarette-making machinery in which tobacco dust is conveyed automatically from each machine of a group to a common collecting dutc and then to a dust separator (e.g. as described in Specification 1,020,984) an atmospheric inlet valve is arranged in the duct leading from each machine to the common collecting duct. The valve is arranged to be opened automatically on the stoppage of the machine with whose duct it is associated, for example by means of the changes of pressure in the duct when the machine is stopped.
