Abstract

1,033,280. Dishwashing machines. SIEMENS-ELECTROGERATE A.G. July 4, 1963 [July 10, 1962], No. 26605/63. Heading A4F. [Also in Division D1] In a clothes, dish, or like washing machine a washing liquid container 3 together with a resilient bellows 6 and a rim or flange 5 around its top opening is constructed in one piece of polypropylene or polyamide, the flange being connected to the walls of the outer casing 1. The rotary drum 4 for the articles is mounted upon a horizontal axis and has a door 14 in its cylindrical wall and a closure flap 7 may be connected integrally by a resilient strip 9 to the flange 5 of the container 3. In a modified arrangement, Fig. 2 (not shown), the container 22 has a side opening and flange 25 which is connected to one side of the outer casing 21, the drum 23 having a corresponding end opening. The drum could be rotatable about a vertical axis.
