Abstract

1,028,936. Shelf supports. J. E. STEEL. Feb. 27, 1963 [Feb. 27, 1962], No. 7700/62. Heading A4B. Cantilever supports 16 for shelves are carried by a framework 10 comprising a line of vertical supports 11, each of which is formed by four uprights 14 arranged in a square formation, and horizontal members 12 extending between opposed pairs of uprights 14. The cantilever supports 16 may extend from one or both sides of the framework 10 and the supports 16 and beams 12 are secured to the vertical supports 11 by bolts 18 and 24, respectively, Fig. 2, (not shown). The supporting structure may be formed of angle channel section, or tubular members. Using tubular members cantilever supports 34, Fig. 3, (not shown) are supported between horizontal beams 36 and a plate 32 which has holes surrounding tubular uprights 30.
