Abstract
1,024,228. Bases for imitation fires. CASTLE CASTINGS Inc. Feb. 18, 1965 [Feb. 18, 1964], No. 6624/64. Heading F4W. A base for an imitation fire comprises a cast metal frame 10 formed with legs 11 and a vertical flange 21 for receiving an extension 24 of a lamp holder 23. A support 19 with bearing part 20 is provided for a flicking device (not shown) and frame 18 supports the imitation fuel means also not shown. Holes in the legs 11 have rubber grommets through which electric cables may be passed to supply the illuminating means.
