Abstract
1,022,369. Induction heating. BEANWY ELECTRIC Ltd. Jan. 1, 1965 [Oct. 1, 1963], No. 38520/63. Heading H5H. In an L.F. induction heater comprising a magnetizable cylinder with a surrounding solenoid in an annular magnetizable casing, an air gap is provided between the end cheeks of the magnetizable casing and the cylinder to assist in cooling the coil. Cooling fluid may be circulated round the coil and through the gap. The gap also allows the cylinder to be reciprocated or rotated relative to the coil.
