Abstract

1,021,078. Boxes; packages; labels. PROPHY-LAC-TIC BRUSH CO. Dec. 22, 1964 [Feb. 12, 1964], No. 51980/64. Headings B8C, B8F and B8P. A toothbrush package comprises a cover 8, and a base 10 which has a flange 16 pierced with a hole 19 for hanging up the package, for example on a rod r, Fig. 1 (not shown), a ring 20 integral with two arms 22 extending from diametrically opposite portions of the edge of the hole projection from the flange to support a label 18. A key-shaped hole 24 in the label 18, which may be of any suitable stiff sheet material, is placed over the ring and then the label is pulled upwardly of Fig. 6 so that it is located firmly against the back of the flange 16. The lower edge 26 of the label abuts against steps 15 on a shoulder 17 at the back of the base 10 thus preventing its accidental removal. The sides of the keyhole 24 abut against the supporting arms 22 preventing the tab from tilting. By making the label 18 twice as wide and with two keyholes cut in it, two toothbrush packages may be held together side-by-side, Fig. 2 (not shown). The cover 8 of the toothbrush package, which may be made of a synthetic plastics material such as transparent polystyrene, is secured to the base 10 by a wrapper 14, Fig. 1 (not shown).
