Abstract

1,228,062. Pill dispensers. RICHARDSONMERRELL Inc. 21 March, 1969 [17 April, 1968], No. 15116/69. Heading B8P. A container for individually dispensing small objects, e.g. daily pills, comprises a channelshaped circular cover 11 and a base 20 comprising a series of cavities 22 which can be individually bent downwardly by means of a projecting tab to release the pill from the cavity, the cover and base being mutually rotatable but indexed by a key 28 on an indexing tab 25 and engageable with a series of grooves 15, 16, 17, Fig. 7, in the cover corresponding to the positions of the cavities. The cavities are hinged at 23 to the hub 21 of the base. The cover and base are held together by lugs 31, and may be of plastics, the cover being transparent if desired.
