1,010,925. Automatic temperature control systems. J. STONE & CO (Deptford) Ltd. Dec 9, 1963, No. 48207/62. Heading G3R. A temperature sensing element 4a forming one arm of a temperature sensitive bridge has, connected in series, another sensitive resistor 46 enclosed with and influenced by a bias heater 5 energized at the same time as a main heater 1, through an amplifier 7 and a relay 3a-c. The relay 3a-c may be replaced by two relays controlling an actuator varying the proportions of hot and cold air, a second bias heater, influencing another temperature sensitive resistor 4c (Figs. 5 and 6 not shown) in another arm of the bridge circuit, being energized in the less heat condition. The heater 5 and resistor 4b may be wound on the same former but electrically insulated from each other. Specification 902,896 is referred to.
