Abstract
1,007,351. Reinforced-concrete flooring. D. P. HENDICK. June 30, 1964 [May 19, 1964], No. 20515/64. Heading E1V. A method of constructing composite floors and roofing in-situ comprises erecting on roof or floor beams of a building structure a latticework with projections 6 extending upward, on which a layer of expended metal 8 is placed so that the projections 6 engage in apertures therein to hold it taut, and pouring concrete 9 on it to form a slab. The lattice-work 1 is formed from joists 3 with ends supported by the roof or floor joists 2 of the structure. Each joist 3 comprises rods 4 as two spaced pairs, connected by rods 5 welded thereto, one end of each rod 5 forming the projections 6.
