Abstract
1,099,255. Colour development. FUJI SHASHIN FILM KABUSHIKI KAISHA. June 24, 1966 [June 25, 1965; June 30, 1965], No. 28439/66. Heading G2C. A colour developer contains p-phenylene diamine or a derivative thereof, and either of the compounds of formula: wherein X is H, OH or NH 2 , and M is H, Na, K or NH 4 . Various compounds are specified, and may be present as 0À1-3 g/l. of developer. The developer may also contain couplers e.g. 1, 5- dihydroxy-2, 6-dibromonaphthalene, #-benzoyl- 4-(p-toluenesulphonamido) acetanilide, 1-phenyl- 3-(m-nitrobenzoylamino)-5-pyrazolone, or 4-amino -3 - methyl -N-ethyl -N-(#-methanesulpho - amidoethyl) aniline. The developers contain the usual additives and may also contain n-butylamine, benzylalcohol, ethanolamine or ethylenediamine.
