Abstract

1,094,037. Injection moulding machines. ZDARSKE STROJIRNY A SLEVARNY NARODNI PODNIK. March 8, 1965 [March 12. 1964], No. 9651/65. Heading B5A. An axially reciprocable injection screw 1 is connected to a cylinder 3 which co-operates with a fixed piston 4 and is rotatable by a drive motor which is axially fixed with respect to the movable cylinder 3. The drive motor may be an electric motor or an hydraulic motor comprising a rotor 7 and stator 8. The screw 1 is advanced axially by fluid pressure introduced between the piston 4 and cylinder 3 through a pipe 11. By unscrewing plugs 15, 16 in the cylinder and piston respectively the screw 1 can be withdrawn for servicing.
