Abstract

1,087,105. Drawers. J. LENGLET. July 28, 1966 [July 29, 1965], No. 34035/66. Heading A4B. A drawer 2 has two projections 3 on its bottom 2a which engage a pliable strip (4) secured to the drawer housing 1 such that when the drawer 2 is opened a strip portion 4d is necessarily torn to provide an indication of unauthorised opening. The projections 3 engage apertures 5 in the strip (4). Alternatively the projections engage the free edge (4e - Figs. 5-8) of the strip (4) or in a recess (8, Fig. 9) in the free edge. Various forms of strip (Figs. 3 and 5-8) each have a part 4d overlying the bottom 1a of the housing 1. In a modification (Figs. 9, 10) the drawer 2 is mounted for vertical sliding in the housing 1 which is supported by a vertical strip (9) having a suspension aperture 10. The projections (3) have a jamming engagement in the housing (1).
