Abstract

1,085,909. Mining machines. ANDERSON MAVOR Ltd. Dec. 23, 1965 [Sept. 24, 1964], No. 38893/64. Heading E1F. To facilitate loading of mineral from the floor at a face onto a conveyer during travel in either direction along the conveyer of a mining machine having a trepanner at one end only of the trepanner - supporting body of the machine there is provided at the other end of the body two paddle wheels separated by a floor scraper and rotatable in a direction to cause the mineral to be loaded up onto the conveyer. The paddle wheels, which are on a common shaft, together the floor scraper may be interchanged with the trepanner on the machine body, which also carries floor and roof-cutting discs.
