In a valve according to the parent Specification stops are provided to limit the downward movement of the plunger during pressure filling of the container. The stops may comprise projections 15 on the seating member engageable by the lower edge of the plunger 5 and/or a projection 16 on the top of the plunger which is engageable with the top of the seating member 2.
