[Also in Division F4] A thermo-electric generator comprises thermo-electric elements 14 attached to the outer surface of a combustion chamber 12 and which have their cold junctions 18 cooled by incoming combustion air drawn in by fan 34, and their hot junctions 16 heated by the combustion products of a wick burner which pass down the chamber 12. The combustion air after cooling junctions 18 is ducted to the burner through tube 48.
