Abstract

1,078,178. Knitting - machines. KARL MAYER TEXTIL - MASCHINENFABRIK G.m.b.H. Oct. 1, 1965 [Oct. 28, 1964], No. 41834/65. Heading D1C. The guide bar 6 of a warp machine is coupled to a spring 25 which exerts a restoring force which is maintained substantially constant inspective of the amount the bar is shogged by the lever 12. For this purpose the spring 25 is connected to the bar 6 by a chain 20 which extends over a segmental lever 22 such that the movement of the bar causes the chain to move and pivot the lever 22 without extending the spring 25.
