Abstract
1,075,260. Suction dredger heads. J. L. MERO. Dec. 30, 1965, No. 55202/65. Heading E1F. Suction dredger head for the picking up of mineral nodules from a seabed comprises a V-shaped frame for being trawled over the seabed to scrape the nodules onto a grill extending between the arms about the entrance to a suction pipe coupled to the frame at the apex of the frame, the grill permitting passage to the pipe of only nodules of a size that will pass satisfactorily up the pipe.
