1,072,859. Mineral-mining installations. GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA. Dec. 6, 1963 [Dec. 14. 1962], No. 52477/66. Divided out of 1,072,858. Heading E1F. In a mineral mining installation a portal shaped winning machine is supported on the face side of a conveyer, extends over the top of the conveyer and is guided on the goaf side of the conveyer by a guide plate or block of the machine entering into an open guide duct extending along the goaf side of the conveyer, the plate or block being attached to a haulage run of a traction chain, the idle run of which travels through a further guide duct on the goaf side of the conveyer. A further winning machine may be independently guided on the conveyer, said machine being attached to a traction chain having a haulage run at the face side of the conveyer and an idle run in a third guide duct on the goaf side of the conveyer.
