Abstract
1,063,720. Dispensing food. CEASE CENTRAL Inc. Feb. 28, 1966, No. 8637/66. Heading A4T. In a food dispenser a stack of food containers 21 covered by plates 24 are supported on an endless chain 30 and the lowest container, during a dwell, is pushed by member 50 carried by a link on a motor driven chain and sprocket on to the support 44 of a device 60 where it is clamped by plate 65 moved by a fluid pressure diaphragm motor 67 after which it is rotated 180 degrees on trunnions to allow the food to fall from the container on to the plate and the container is vibrated by device 63. The motor 67 then lowers the plate and leaves the container supported by side flanges. A motor 95 then drives a chain 96 carrying a pusher 100 to move the plate to a delivery space 17 through a sliding door 105 operated by a solenoid valve controlled motor 123, this motor also opening sliding door 130 to an opening 128 through which the container falls when the device 60 rotates to its previous position. A further dispensing, inserting and delivery cycle cannot be started untill a door 86 has been opened to extract the food and reclosed to operate switch 41. A motor driven chain 142 moves rod 144 to shift a front stack of containers on to the endless chain 30 when it is empty.
