Abstract

1,063,673. Hydraulic reciprocating motors. POCLAIN. May 27, 1965 [June 3, 1964], No. 22649 /65. Heading F1A. In a reversible motor having at least one cylinder block 1 rotatably mounted on a pintle valve 13 with radial pistons 5 engaging a cam track 7 through rollers 6, certain of the cylinders 4 may be taken out of operation by hydraulic actuation of spring-loaded slide valves 26 which interconnect the out-of-operation cylinders through a closed circuit including groove 33, so that their associated pistons are maintained in contact with the cam track. Groove 33 may be connected to an accumulator or to the exhaust line of the motor upstream of a calibrated check valve 37. In another embodiment, Fig. 4 (not shown), groove 33 is separate from the passage supplying actuating liquid to the slide valve.
