Abstract

1,063,402. Sheet delivering apparatus. PAPER CONVERTING MACHINE CO. Inc. March 8, 1965 [April 10, 1964], No. 9656/65. Heading B6H. A delivery apparatus for zig-zag folded manifold stationery comprises two endless chain conveyers 26 provided with a plurality of plates 19 for supporting of successive folds of the stationery as it is delivered in a downward direction towards a horizontally travelling conveyer 20 on which the stationery, formed into stacks 15 (Fig. 3, not shown) by interposition of plates 16<SP>1</SP>, is deposited. The plates 16<SP>1</SP> may be provided with a cutting edge to sever the lines of weakness between the folds whereupon they are withdrawn from beneath a stack which is deposited on the conveyer 20. If the stationery is unsevered the stacks may be carried away on the conveyer 20, whilst resting on the plates 16<SP>1</SP>.
