Abstract
1,062,098. Timing ignition. ROBERT BOSCH G.m.b.H. April 1, 1964 [April 9, 1963], No.13409/64. Heading F1B. In an ignition timing device a vacuum responsive adjuster 11 is connected through a forked passage to two spaced apart ports 18, 20 in the engine carburetter, one port being at the carburetter Venturi and the other being adjacent the throttle valve, the passage containing a restriction 23 between the vacuum sensitive member 12 and the point where it forks to the two ports. As shown the restriction may be fitted into a connecting socket of the vacuum responsive adjuster, and the carburetter end of the passage may contain another restriction 231. The pipe bores at immediately opposite sides of the restriction may be different from one another. A connecting pipe between the carburetter and the vacuum responsive adjuster may be constructed as a restriction.
