1.056.330. Air filters. DEUTSCHER SINNEREIMASCHINENBAU INGOLSTADT NIEDERLASSUNG DER SCHUBERT & SALZER MASCHINENFABRIK A.G. Sept. 29, 1964 [Nov. 16, 1963], No. 39696/64. Heading B1T. [Also in Division Dl] In a rotary sieve air filter, used in conjunction with textile or knitting machinery, most of the air is delivered by a duct 41 and drawn through the sieve 3 by a fan 2 (Fig. 2, not shown), but an additional air stream enters louvres (12) and is directed past an adjustable shutter 42 laterally across the sieve, causing lint particles to snowball as the sieve rotates, finally emerging past shutter 42 to fall to the bottom of box 1. Sieve 3 is rotated frictionally by driven wheel 32, and a door (15) permits manual removal of lint from box 1.
