A device for turning an endless conveyer belt 1 about its longitudinal axis comprises idler rollers 2 at each end of the turning section and a plurality of spherical rollers 3 mounted along the turning section and in contact with one side of the belt only, the rollers 3 being mounted on swivel and elongatable brackets 5, Fig. 2 (not shown), which are adjustably clamped on supports 6 which in turn are adjustable on a frame 4 alongside the conveyer.
