Abstract

An alloy comprises:- <TABS:1049724/C6-C7/1> the balance, apart from impurities, being nickel. Up to 5% total of the deoxidizers Mn, Si, Ca, Ce, Mg, Zr and Hf may be present as may up to 1% total of Be, N and P. In an example the alloy is solution treated at 1230 DEG C., quenched in oil and aged at 750 DEG C.
