Abstract

1,047,561. Transformers. MINISTER OF MINISTERUL METALURGIEI SI CONSTRUCTIILOR DE MASINI, RUMANIAN. Feb. 12, 1965, No. 1181/63. Heading H1T. The cylindrical tapped portion 2, Figs. 1 and 2 (not shown), of a transformer secondary winding has a coil mounted at each end (3, 4), the two coils being connected between two tapping selectors 5, 6 to limit the current during tap changing, and the output is taken from the connection between the two coils. The non- tapped portion 1 may form a separate cylindrical winding (Fig. 2, not shown) or may be split into two parts on either side of the tapped portion (Fig. 1, not shown).
