Abstract

1,043,921. Packages. ISACSONS WELLEM 4 BALLAGE A.B. Jan. 7, 1964, No. 696/6 Heading B8C. A wrapper for use in packaging parallel opipedic objects such as books and catalogues is provided with a locking flap 8 projecting from one edge of the wrapper which is adapted to be inserted through a slot 9 provided in one of the flat sides 1 of the wrapper, the slot being shaped so as to form a tongue 10 which, when the locking flap is inserted through the slot, engages an opening 11 provided in the locking flap having substantially the same contour as said tongue 10, thereby preventing without folding of the flap withdrawal of the flap 8 from said slot 9. The wrapper blank comprises two panels 1, 2 joined by a narrow portion 3, panel 1 having further narrow panels 4 with side extensions 5 and panel 2 having an extension 6 with an end area 7 from which the locking flap 8 projects.
