[Also in Division B2] A sprinkling or pouring dispenser has a rigid or semi-rigid closure 10 (Fig. 2), e.g. of metal or plastics, with one or more outlet holes 10a and a non-replaceable seal 11 of deformable material which passes into or through the hole or holes and which adheres to the closure by the nature of the material used. The seal 11 may be of a water-cased latex compound moulded in position. In one embodiment (Fig. 2), a ring of holes 10a, concentric with the closure, is localized in a channel formed by upstanding flanges, the outer of which is interrupted over a sufficient arc to allow a seal of annular form to be prised up by a fingernail, the flanges being on a raised portion of a closure recessed to fit a cylindrical container internally. In another embodiment, a single central hole 20a (Fig. 3, not shown) in a recessed closure, is provided with a seal 21. Alternatively, in a sheet metal closure, one or more offset holes 50a (Fig. 6, not shown) situated in circular recesses, are each provided with seals 51. In further embodiments, a central ring of holes 30a (Fig. 4, not shown), disposed on the convex surface of an internally fitting closure, is closed by a single disc-shaped seal. Alternatively, the holes 40a (Fig. 5, not shown) may be arranged in an annular channel and closed with an annular seal. Heat-set latex compound, or a material which is set by the application of heat or by the addition of a chemical setting agent may be used for the sealing material.
