Abstract
On élabore un lingot (1) de grandes dimensions par coulée de l'alliage de zirconium, puis on forge le lingot pour obtenir le demi-produit (8). Le demi-produit (8) qui peut être une brame pour la fabrication d'un produit plat est élaboré à partir du lingot coulé (1) de grandes dimensions, par une seule opération de forgeage (7) à une température à laquelle l'alliage de zirconium est dans un état comportant à la fois les phases cristallines alpha et bêta de l'alliage.
