The present invention relates to the new design of cushions, mattresses of all shapes, of different thicknesses, dimensions, effective in preventing bedsores. The new concept resides in the association of two products 1) An envelope constituted by a- Upper face mesh "TREVIRA" CS bi expandable from 50 to 90 Z which is a PES non-flammable (2) b- A film of aerated polyurethane (1 ) which consists of an insulating polyurethane membrane (1) with a modified molecular structure.

Gels obtenus par polymérisation des oxyons de : popylène, éthylène, butylène, styrenne, tetrahydrofuranne en présence de catalyseurs et dont la masse élastomérique est choisie en fonction de viscosité pour obtenir un bon résultat selon l'invention.filled with a gel which may be a polybutadian gel crosslinked with an isocianate of the MDI type in order to obtain a self-retractable elastomeric mass, perfectly hydrophobic self-extinguishing with a viscosity of + or - 2.5 poises supporting a neighboring temperature 2000 at most and - 300 at least whose gel strength associated with the envelope exceeds 200 kgs for an elastomeric mass of 40 cm x 40 cm x 3.5 cm
For the good result of our invention to be used in the same viscosity and also treated self-extinguishing with known products in the manufacture of synthetic gels of the following gels:
Acetic or alcoholic gels of polyurethane urea
PVC gels

In the case of our invention, they are used as a protective envelope for polyurethane gel or other synthetic gels mentioned above, self-shrinking.
These envelopes are wrinkle-resistant, do not crackle, washable, sterilizable, they are soft to the touch. They are less irritating than the neoprene envelopes described in a previous patent. They are better ventilated, they are isothermal, which polyurethane envelopes do not offer.
