Abstract

L'invention concerne une aiguille de combustible nucléaire Ladite aiguille présente une région centrale de matière fissile sous forme de microsphères grandes et petites, les petites pouvant passer entre les grandes, et des régions axiales d'une matière fertile au-dessus et au-dessous de la région centrale. Des couches de barrage sont placées au-dessus et au-dessous de la région centrale pour la séparer des régions axiales et contiennent des microsphère d'un diamètre compris entre ceux des microsphères grandes et petites pour empêcher les matières des réglons centrale et axiales de se mélanger. Application aux réacteurs nucléaires surrégénérateurs à neutrons rapides.
