Abstract

Procédé et installation de traitement de laitier métallurgique moyennant une désintégration mécanique d'un courant de laitier s'écoulant à travers un chenal incliné 12 dans lequel on injecte une quantité variable d'eau 14 par le fond. On accélère ou ralentit la phase de refroidissement initial du laitier en fonction des propriétés de celui-ci et on modifie l'intensité et/ou la durée de la désintégration mécanique en fonction des propriétés physiques et granulométriques du laitier à produire. Application au laitier de hauts fourneaux.
