Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation de sels alcalins de l'acide phénylacétique par réaction d'un halogénure de benzyle (chlorure ou bromure) avec le monoxyde de carbone, en présence d'un sel de cobalt hydrocarbonyle. Elle est caractérisée en ce qu'on effectue la réaction au sein d'un système à deux phases (diphasique) aqueux/organique constitué d'une solution aqueuse d'une base minérale, et de l'halogénure de benzyle dans un solvant en présence d'un système catalytique constitué par un sel d'alkyl ammonium quaternaire et d'un sel de cobalt hydrocarbonyle, à la pression atmosphérique, et à une température de 20 à 70 degrés C environ Utilisation dans l'industrie de cette méthode.
