Abstract

Le pneumatique selon l'invention comporte une carcasse formée d'au moins un pli continu 1 dont les extrémités sont ancrées autour des tringles 5 et au moins un demi-pli 2 dans chaque flanc, ce demi-pli arrivant à une distance Y de la ligne L-L correspondant à la plus grande largeur du pneumatique gonflé, l'autre extrémité du demi-pli pouvant passer ou non autour de la tringle 5 et l'élément intermédiaire formé par les plis 3 et 3' ayant une largeur sensiblement égale à la largeur B de la bande de roulement 6, les fils des plis étant inclinés pour obtenir les meilleurs caractéristiques mécaniques.
