Abstract

The back of the wiper blade support has a moulded plastics fitting with parallel upright ribs and a single crossbar set between them. The hooked end of the wiper arm (18) is located around the bar to provide a secure fitting. The fitting can be enhanced by spring clip inserts (34) between the crossbar and the hooked end. The fitting can be made to suit any type of hooked end so that a universal mounting is obtained.
