Abstract

The panels covering the distribution base or other electrical apparatus are fastened to the extruded sections by means of bolts which engage with washers which fit into special grooves in the extruded sections. There may be a single groove (11) for fastenings for a top cover plate for the box and there are two grooves (12, 13) at the back of the extruded section which are used to accommodate washers on bolts fastening the extruded section to an angle iron framework supporting the box. There are three completely enclosed spaces inside the extruded metal section. The extruded sections on the bottom of the box may be similar to the sections on top.
