Abstract

1,169,318. Distribution tracks. BRITISH LIGHTING INDUSTRIES Ltd. 22 July, 1968, No. 34943/68. Heading H2E. A distribution track 10 contains bus-bars 18, 19 accessible through slots 20, 21, and projections 26, 27 for supporting tapping means. The track 10, preferably of extruded P.V.C., has an asymmetrical cross-section so that the correct polarity of the bus-bars 19, of copper, may be ensured. A base 11 of the track 10 may be screwed to a support, or secured by T-bolts mating with a cover 34 in which the track is slidable. An aluminium earthing strip 24 is provided.
