Abstract

Fungicidal prepns. contain as active material 1-isopropylcarbamoyl-3-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-hydantoin (I) and a fungicide such as 2-methoxycarbonylamino-benzimidazole, 1-butylcarbamoyl-2-methoxycarbonylamino-benzimidazole, 1,2-di-(3-methoxycarbonylthioureido)benzene, 2-methoxycarbonylimino-3-(2-aminophenyl)-4-thiazolidinone, tetramethylthiuramidisulphide, N-trichloromethylthiophthalimide and/or copper-oxyquinolinate. The prepns. have high activity against various fungi attacking grains and fruits such as Fusarium, Septora, Pyrenophora-, Puccinia- and Helminthosporium spp and others. They are esp. valuable against fungi of stored grains and seeds and may be used as disinfectants. The prepsn. contg. (I) have synergistic fungicidal activity and supplement the spectrum of activity or normal fungicidal prepns.
